This collaboration is SO near and dear to my heart. The photo on the right above is in my collection, and when I posted it on the Obscura Instagram account with a passing thought about making reproductions of the woman's amazing t-shirt, I was thrilled to see how many other people wanted one.
When the amazing folks at oddobody reached out about collaborating on a limited edition reproduction, I was so in. Their 100% pima cotton tees seemed like the perfect fit (pun intended), and 10% of the proceeds go Brigid Alliance to to support people in need of safe and accessible abortion care.
We've since learned that the phrase on the shirt is a reference to a song by the iconic, if under-recognized, songwriter Allee Willis. Willis is the subject of a brand new documentary that you can learn more about here.
